With seven years of management and producing experiences, Danish MOKHTAR strives to push the quality of content for consumers and create a more exciting scene for creatives in Malaysia.
Danish started his career with top talent management companies in Los Angeles before becoming part of the development team for Malaysia's blockbuster film TOMBIRUO (2017). He then pivoted MTalent Asia from managing independent musicians to representing celebrities in lucrative brand deals, and produced content for social media and music videos.
In 2022, he founded Atma Entertainment to develop Malaysian talents and produce compelling stories with a commercial sensibility.
Drawn by character-driven films, some of Danish Mokhtar’s favourite films are John Patton Ford’s EMILY THE CRIMINAL (2022), Muzzamer Rahman’s PREBET SAPU (2021), and The Daniels’ SWISS ARMY MAN (2016).
